DIETS DON’T WORK….. you need to make healthy eating choices to fuel your body effectively.

CHOOSE….Water
AT LEAST 2 LITRES EACH DAY…..MORE IF YOU PERSPIRE!

CHOOSE….
‘Whole’ meal breads and carbs, such as brown pitta bread, rye bread, wholewheat bagels, brown rice, wholemeal pasta

CHOOSE…
Soya milk, soya yoghurts, soya cheese (YOU WILL GET TO LIKE THE TASTE IF YOU PERSEVERE - TRUST ME!!!)

CHOOSE….
Fruit Be adventurous and try new fruits – passion fruit, kumquat, pomelo, blueberries - THERE IS MORE TO FRUIT THAN JUST APPLES!

CHOOSE….
Vegetables Again – be adventurous – try new things
TIP: DO NOT OVERCOOK - STEAMING IS BEST - NO VEG TASTES GOOD IF IT’S LIMP & SOGGY!

CHOOSE….
Fish in a can, frozen or fresh. (BETTER NOT COVERED IN BATTER, FRIED IN DEEP FAT AND BOUGHT FROM THE CHIPPY, BUT THAT’S OK ONCE IN A WHILE!!)CHOOSE….
Lean meat and poultry GO ON, HAVE A STEAK - BUT NOT EVERY DAY - WHITE MEAT IS BEST.

CHOOSE… .
Unsalted nuts, seed (eg sunflower, linseed), sprouting beans FOR YOUR BETWEEN MEAL SNACKS

CHOOSE….
EVERYTHING IN MODERATION ….even chocolate
